1. Take the Bridge from New Orleans to the Westbank;
2. Get and stay in the right lane. You will be taking the first exit.
3. Take the first exit, General DeGualle, and stay in the right lane and turn right on General DeGaulle.
4. The next right is L.Bl Landry (formerly Whitney). Turn right on L.B. Landry and go until you get to Opelousas. You will first pass Newton, which has a traffic light, and then come to Opelousas which has a four-way stop sign.
5. Turn left on Opelousas. Travel on Opelousas until you get to Olivier Street, which is a T-intersection. Turn right on Olivier Street until you come to Pelican Avenue. The church is the first building on the left. This is a good place to park.

Directions to Mount Olivet from the Canal/Algiers Ferry
Take the Canal Street Ferry at the foot of Canal Street (It is one of the stops on the Riverfront Streetcar line) across the Mississippi to Algiers Point. The Algiers Point ferry landing is on the corner of Morgan and Bouny Streets. Turn left, walk down Morgan Street about four blocks, past the historic Algiers Courthouse, to Olivier Street. Turn right on Olivier and walk to Pelican Avenue. The Parish hall is on the corner and Mount Olivet Episcopal Church is the first building off of the corner. The gate will be open, and you will be welcomed.
Alternatively or on the way back to the ferry, turn left, and then right on Seguin to blocks to Olivier. Turn left on Olivier, walk two blocks and cross Verret. The Church is on the next block. It is white with red doors and a black sign with white lettering.
